For Immediate Release
VANCOUVER, BC – The Canadian Tourism College (CTC) and New Zealand’s Pacific International Hotel Management School (PIHMS) are establishing educational pathways between the two institutions, as agreed upon by CTC President Feroz Ali and PIHMS CEO William McCallum earlier this month.
“These educational pathways will allow CTC students to begin their education here and transition smoothly into a post-graduate diploma or Masters level program at PIHMS,” Ali explained. “This partnership will enrich the learning experiences of both domestic and international students at CTC by giving them an international degree and work experience in New Zealand.”
Ali took ownership of the CTC in February of this year and made the development of educational pathways an integral goal of the College.
“The future of private education lies in providing opportunities to students,” Ali said. “My hope is that this agreement will be the first of many partnerships with public and private institutions around the world, as well as here in BC.”
Pathway development is underway with the hope of launching the program in January, 2017.
