ILAC CTC Vaccination Policy for Students

ILAC Canadian Tourism College has a corporate social responsibility to keep Canada and our school communities safe. ILAC’s Vaccination Policy will promote a safe learning environment and help protect the health and well-being of our students.

Vaccines Approved in Canada

Students that have not been vaccinated by a Health Canada-approved vaccine are considered unvaccinated.

Full Vaccination Status:
Green ILAC CTC Vaccine Passport

Students are considered fully vaccinated if they have received the following vaccination:

Protocol: Fully vaccinated students will receive a green ILAC Vaccine Passport and will be able to participate in all on-campus classes and activities.

Unvaccinated Status:
Students Travelling to Canada

Students that have not been vaccinated by a Health Canada-approved vaccine are considered unvaccinated.

Protocol: Unvaccinated students arriving in Canada will be required to quarantine and receive a first dose immediately (within seven days) upon completion of the mandatory quarantine:

After receiving the first dose, students will be given Partial Vaccination Status and receive a yellow ILAC Vaccine Passport. Students can immediately study on campus for up 42 days until they receive a second dose of a Health Canada-approved vaccine. Partially vaccinated students will be subject to rapid antigen testing once per week.

Partial Vaccination Status:
Yellow ILAC CTC Vaccine Passport

Students are considered partially vaccinated if they have received the following vaccination:

Protocol: Partially vaccinated students will receive a yellow ILAC Vaccine Passport. Students can immediately study on campus for up 42 days until they receive a second dose of a Health Canada-approved vaccine. Partially vaccinated students will be subject to rapid antigen testing once per week.

Unvaccinated Status:
Students Currently in Canada

Students will be required to receive their first dose before September 13, or they will be required to study online and not be allowed to participate in on campus activities.

Once a student receives their first dose, they will receive a Partial Vaccination Status and a yellow Vaccine Passport. They will be required to follow the Partial Vaccine protocol.

After receiving the first dose, students will be given Partial Vaccination Status and receive a yellow ILAC Vaccine Passport. Students can immediately study on campus for up 42 days until they receive a second dose of a Health Canada-approved vaccine. Partially vaccinated students will be subject to rapid antigen testing once per week.
