For Immediate Release
VANCOUVER, BC – Nine months after acquiring Canadian Tourism College (CTC), new owner and President Feroz Ali has launched a new brand and new website for the Vancouver and Surrey-based College.
“I am very pleased to be able to showcase the new look and website for CTC,” Ali said. “It’s an exciting time for CTC as we continue to assess our current offerings, build new ones, and explore educational pathways to benefit our students. Our new website and brand will work to more effectively showcase everything we have to offer.”
In operation since 1980, CTC was this first, and is the longest-running, travel and tourism college in British Columbia.
“CTC has been operating successfully for over 36 years, this new brand is not meant to discount what has been done previously, but build on it. We are striving to meet the changing needs of our students and the dynamic travel and tourism industry while also ensuring we stand out as the premiere post-secondary institute that we are,” Ali said.
The new brand was developed in consultation with current and past CTC students, CTC staff and instructors, as well as the new senior management team hired by Ali.
“The goal of the new brand is to present CTC as it truly is: A pathway to dynamic career opportunities and exciting educational pursuits,” Abby Blinch, Director of Marketing and Communications explained. “Our hope is that our new tagline, Go Places, will inspire people to consider where they want their education to take them and the kind of lifestyle they want to lead. We want to make sure they know at CTC we’ve got programs that guide people to careers that can take them all over the world, give them the chance to meet and help people, as well as be genuinely energized to wake up every morning and go to work.”
